Inspired by the deep, murky, and gloomy water eroding the banks of Dundee, the differentiation between mood within each collection is further emphasised through the use of light and structure. The Dundee side of the Tay becomes increasingly darker and more rigid, punctuated by bright bursts of colour that introduce a chaotic energy throughout. This mirrors the low mood often associated with Bipolar type 2 disorder, creating a sense of chaos and turbulence within this ‘Dark’ collection.
